During the Great Patriotic war, the theater was evacuated to Perm, where it continued its activities, and returned to Leningrad only a year before the end of the war, celebrating the return of Glinka's opera "Ivan Susanin". In 1988, Valery Abisalovich Gergiev, one of the most outstanding conductors of the world's modernity, who still holds this post, took over the management of the Theater. His productions are becoming an opening for the world music community. With his active participation, in 2013, a new stage of the Mariinsky Theatre with a total area of 79,114 square meters was opened on the other side of the Kryukov canal, with an auditorium for 2,000 people, 7 ground and 3 underground floors, and rehearsal rooms for ballet, chorus and orchestra, and opera. [5] Today, the Mariinsky theatre puts on performances of the most famous literary and musical works performed by opera and ballet companies as well as well-known groups from all over the world. Popular festivals are also held here. The Mariinsky Theatre actively cooperates with famous foreign opera and ballet theatres, including La Scala, Covent Garden, the Metropolitan Opera and the Opera de Bastille.The Mariinsky opera and ballet theatre is considered as the diamond of the Northern capital, which, without ceasing to sparkle with its amazing facets, paints the theatrical life of St. Petersburg with bright colors of joy, pleasure and enjoyment.Thus, summing up the above, we can say that the rich history and modern life of the two famous theaters of St. Petersburg with their wonderful productions of the past and present have always aroused the audience's interest. This fact is evidence that the theatrical life of St. Petersburg, indeed, has a special atmosphere that attracts an increasing number of fans to theaters.ConclusionIn accordance with the objectives of the present research, realized through the performance of the integrated goals, the following results have been achieved:1.St. Petersburg is famous for its theaters and the theatrical life, dating back to Peter's time. This unique city with a bright character and an extraordinary destiny has become not just the cultural capital of Russia, but also the "father" of the classic Russian theater.2.The theatrical life in St. Petersburg is rich and diverse. Every evening, those who want to relax and get rich in culture have a large selection of theaters and theater venues.3.Both the Mikhailovsky and Mariinsky theatres are among the most famous and popular theatres not only in Russia, but also abroad. Mariinka pleases its audience with the best productions of ballet and opera performances, and the beautiful Mikhailovsky theatre gives its fans the opportunity to enjoy a mixture of modern drama, musical shows and classical ballet or Opera.4.Among our contemporaries, trips to theatrical productions are becoming more popular. It make us happy that, despite the development of the entertainment industry, people do not lose interest in live art. We come to the theater to see with our own eyes how artists play, how they get used to the roles and experience the lives of their characters. After all, the energy that gives a live performance of actors, will not give any movie screen. The theater performances are a touch of the classic, because most theaters have a large number of classical works in their repertoire. This is an opportunity to learn something new, or remember what you have already read and improve ourselves as well as grow culturally.Therefore, the theatrical life of St. Petersburg is closely intertwined with our life from all sides, making it diverse and bright, lively and interesting, rich, helping to better understand their purpose in this world. Our earthly world is made of perfection and imperfection. It is up to us how we will make our future, what we will read, what we will listen to, and how we will speak.
